Session 1.
Learn all about the new travel buzz of Blockchain. What is it, and how will it impact the travel industry. Amy Padget – SAP/Concur will moderate a panel of two industry experts to explain this new technology.

Session 2
Travel industry technology is always changing, and now even more at rapid pace. Will Tate – Gold Spring Consulting will moderate am all-star panel of buyer, seller and subject matter experts to inform us what is new and coming in travel technology applications.

Alex Lamb started in the travel space in 2012 as an early employee at a cloud-based PMS startup in San Francisco called Frontdesk Anywhere.  He led the engineering team as the company grew its customer base and expanded operations globally through 2014.  Alex became VP of Product in 2015 and worked closely with hoteliers, gaining an understanding of their operations and the challenges they face with their distribution today.

Seeing an opportunity to apply distributed ledger technology to a problem that a large portion of the travel industry was struggling with, He founded Arise with Nadim El Manawy in late 2017.

Amy Padgett
, director of supplier marketing at Concur Technologies, is passionate about making business travel easier for travelers and their companies. Amy started her career in corporate travel with UATP – the first credit card, ever! From there she joined AirPlus International as an original member of a new leadership team charged with introducing AirPlus to the North American marketplace. After AirPlus, she managed the development and evolution of one of Carlson Wagonlit Travel’s four key lines of business focusing on traveler security, risk mitigation, and crisis management worldwide. Today, at Concur, she continues to explore ways to make corporate travel life better through technology and partnerships.

Amy lives in Richmond, VA with her husband, stepdaughter and two dogs. She received her BA from George Mason University and MBA from Virginia Commonwealth University.

Sergio Fierens has been leading technology teams in the travel industry for 12 years.  Customer-focused and always biased towards action, he relentlessly works to make life simpler for travelers.  At Egencia, he leads a diverse set of technology teams, providing a seamless experience across different channels on its Travel Platform (web, mobile apps, and the offline agent services).  In the past, he has worked for leisure travel brands like Expedia and Orbitz in Chicago, and Ebookers in London.

Jim Sisco has been in the Travel Industry for 25 years.  Jim started his career with Continental Airlines in 1994.  He held position in Airport Operations, Corporate Sales Programs Analysis, Field Sales and Global Sales. 

In early 2006, Jim left Continental Airlines and moved into the Corporate Travel Procurement Group at Accenture.  He spent 2 years as the North America Category Lead for travel related services.  Jim was Responsible for delivering standardized Sourcing and Category Management services for the Airline, Airport Parking, Car Rental, Ground Transportation, Traveler Security Services, Passport & Visa Services, Charter Aircraft and Fractional Jet Ownership travel sub-categories. 

In February of 2008, Jim accepted the Director, Global Travel & Credit Card Services position with RELX Group.  He has responsibility for global travel procurement, travel agency process & operations, corporate card and global supplier management. 

Jim holds active memberships with the Chicago Business Travel Association (CBTA) and the Association of Corporate Travel Executives (ACTE).  Jim serves on airline corporate, travel agency and Business Travel News (BTN) advisory boards, and actively participates, speaks and presents at various travel forums throughout each year.
