NDC – What is it and What’s in it for Me?

What is NDC and how will it impact you?  Whether you’re a buyer or supplier, NDC will have an impact on your business this year and beyond.  Join this interactive session where we will explore the truth about NDC (Fact or Fiction), the status within the industry and the opportunities it brings to the entire value chain.  In this session we will:

  • Play a “Fact or Fiction” game to help you better understand NDC
  • Highlight NDC “by the numbers” (status of NDC within the industry)
  • Highlight NDC opportunities for aggregators, OBTs, TMCs, Buyers and Travelers
  • Answer any and all questions you may have about NDC!!

Lora has worked in the business travel consulting sector for more than 20 years, leading hundreds of consulting projects involving outsourced travel buying & management, strategic sourcing, total program management and demand management. Most recently Lora has led multiple engagement projects, helping suppliers to better understand the marketplace as well as helping buyers better understand their travelers while driving more strategic travel programs.

In 2018, Lora took on the role of NDC Envoy for the USA with a remit to help engage the US market, specifically TMCs and corporate buyers, in deeper dialogue around NDC.  While NDC has been discussed for years in the US market, there is a need for deeper understanding around the progression of NDC with both airlines and GDSs and how that progression could potentially impact / benefit corporate buyers, TMCs and others in the value chain.
