Our History
Founded in 1970 as MBTA, our chapter evolved through the decades—becoming CBTA (Chicago Business Travel Association) and rebranding to GBTA Chicago in 2019.
Over the past 50+ years, we've served as a hub for education, connection, and professional development in the business travel industry. Our community includes corporate travel managers and industry partners working together to lead innovation and share best practices.
