IMPORTANT GBTA VOTING ISSUES

GBTA is in the process of finalizing the Board Elections along with a proposal for all PAID GBTA Members to vote on. If you are not attending the convention this year it is critical that you request an Absentee Ballot by JULY 5, 2013.  Some of you might be attending but don’t want to deal with voting at convention. You can request an absentee ballot and vote before you get to San Diego.

Absentee Ballots

If you are unable to attend the 2013 GBTA Annual Convention and vote in person, you may request an absentee ballot.
Absentee ballots must be requested in writing no later than 6:00pm Eastern Time Friday, July 5, 2013. To request an absentee ballot, please write, fax or e-mail:

Ballots will be emailed beginning on June 24, 2013 for completion. The ballot will contain necessary information for both the Election of Directors as well as the Bylaw Amendment Proposals.

Completed absentee ballots must be received to GBTA no later than 6:00pm Eastern Time on Monday, July 29, 2013, which is five days prior to the start of Convention. Instructions for submission and completion will be included on the ballot.
