Government Relations Committee

The purpose of government relations committee is to be the voice of GBTA Chicago at all levels of government including city, state, and national.  Government relations is a bipartisan committee that strives to obtain political support for legislation that supports business travel. 

Additional duties of this committee includes:

• Identifying qualified government speakers
• Fundraising for GBTA PAC
• Representing the Chicago chapter at Legislative Symposium
• Carry out duties and actions agreed upon in board/committee meetings
• Educate board, committee, and membership on current legislative topics
