Chicago BTA is proud to announce the 2020 Scholarship Opportunity. Recipients must be current members of Chicago BTA. Scholarships must be redeemed by December 31, 2020. Opportunities include, but are not limited to the following:


GBTA Annual Convention registration fee ($1195 early bird) – July 25-29, 2020 – Denver, CO

GBTA Academy Courses (cost varies) -

GTP Courses (GBTA Members: $350; Non-Members: $450) - The GTP Certification is designed to raise industry standards, enhance work performance, and recognize individuals who demonstrate core competencies essential to the business travel management discipline. 

CMM ($4,400) - GBTA and MPI have joined forces to create the new CMM Program, delivering one global standard of excellence that will bolster your business management skills and advance your career. 

GLP Courses - The Global Leadership Professional® designation (GLP) was created to acknowledge business travel professionals who had completed the GLP Program, received their Certificate of Professional Development, and then applied that knowledge to help further the industry through a related group project. 

Cost: GBTA Members: $995 (Special member rate)
Non-Member Directs, Indirects and Allieds: $1,355 (Includes 1-year membership)
Non-Member Government, Non-Profit or Educator: $1,095 (Includes 1-year membership)

Chicago Chapter annual dues - $175

Chicago Chapter quarterly meeting fees - $75 per meeting (early bird)


- Sponsorship of organization’s ECPAT Membership

- Fees depend on the size of your organization. Organization must be a member of The Code (see below).

- Sponsorship of your organization’s fees for signing The Code

- Fees depend on organizations annual revenue

- Sponsorship of a half day/full day/training session for your organization

- Training fees are waived, F&B/Meeting room costs dependent on hotel


- Sponsorship for dues to Loyola University Chicago at the Quinlan School of Business for a Certificate in Business Ethics Program

- Sponsorship for dues to University of York online distance learning programme in Defending Human Rights

- Approximately $600 per module, 3 modules total
